Hoàng Thiện Phúc Vietnamese, b. 1995
Hoang Thien Phuc (b. 1994), is a vibrant and free-spirited artist from La Gi— coastal village in Binh Thuan province. He graduated from the Ho Chi Minh University of Fine Arts in 2020, then ventured into the bustling art scene of Ho Chi Minh City. After a transformative period, he returned to La Gi to embark on a new artistic journey rooted in his origins.
Phuc’s bold, inventive approach has earned him growing recognition across the region. His work has been featured in the Same Same But Different group exhibition at The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre (Ho Chi Minh City, 2020); his debut solo exhibition Phuc: Cut, Draw, Paste, Place at Mo Art Space (Hanoi, 2021); Hangover at Richard Koh Gallery (Singapore, 2022); Diverse Visions at Richard Koh Gallery (Singapore, 2023); and most recently, his solo exhibition Tree of Virtue at Mo Art Space (Hanoi, 2024).
With a youthful exuberance and a fearless approach, Hoang Thien Phuc continues to explore new dimensions in art, inviting viewers into his world of creativity and expression.
