Dương Thùy Dương (b.1979), graduated in 2009 from the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Germany. Currently living and working in Berlin, Germany, Duong's art is a visual dialogue between Eastern and Western identities, culturally and artistically. Her multi-layered oil paintings employ various techniques that create optical illusions that raise questions about our beliefs in metaphysical theories on Creation, Evolution, Love, Life and Death.
